About Me

I was given my first camera when I was 8 years old. Ever since then I have taken photos. Over the last few years I have had more time and resources to invest in my hobby. With the discovery of great equipment and great software I have started to develop my own style and approach. I am now in a position to spend more time with the camera and as a result I am looking for opportunities to hone my skills. I recently completed the Professional Diploma in Photography with the Institute of Photography, achieving a distinction. I am always looking for opportunities to develop my skills in these four areas: 1 - Portraiture: I am looking to get great shots of people that they want to put up on their wall. Whether it be of a special occasion, wanting to get a model type shot, or getting a particular memory captured then I may be able to help. I can do studio type photos or location photos at mutually convenient places. Examples of my work can be found in this website. 2 - Events: I love trying to capture the thrill of an event, whether it be sports, theatre, dance or anything where there is movement, drama and excitement. Capturing the moment or what's happening on the sidelines create great memories. As can be seen from my website I have attended many an event and you can see examples of my work. 3 - Landscapes: I love capturing the places I visit. My aim is to try and find alternative views or hidden gems and to capture them in a quality way. Examples of what I have done so far can again be found in this website. 4 - Product or still life: I enjoy the challenge if creating impactful photos of subjects. Examples again are included in this site. I am looking for any opportunities for the above. If anyone has any ideas or would just like some photos taken please let me know. I am often happy to do work as a collaboration. You will get digital copies of the good photos. All I will ask for is approval to use and publish the photos.
